Roles & Responsibilities

Develop and pursue Agency sales and marketing goals and strategies, 4 year’s sales experience with at least one of those working within an agency focused environment 2 year’s sales experience, preferably with exposure to an agency focused environment

  • Build and enhance relationships with existing agencies who have multiple underwriters to increase premium revenue and profitability within the sales territory
  • Perform all due diligence and investigation necessary to identify qualified new agency candidates
  • Assist prospective agents in completing agency application documentation
  • Obtain completed agency application and all other documentation required by the agency approval process
  • Submit approved agency application documentation into SureClose system
  • Retaining and expanding agency relationships throughout regional/market area
  • Proactively communicating with and responding in a timely manner to agents
  • Developing and executing a call plan for the area assigned
  • Assessing individual agent needs and developing, presenting and implementing a plan to meet those needs
  • Displaying or demonstrating products using samples or catalogs, and emphasizing salable features
  • Managing agency accounts including performing policy audits, collecting aged receivables, monitoring agent remittance and resolving any accounting issues
