As part of our diversification and growth strategy, we are establishing an Agriculture TIC vertical to expand our market presence and service portfolio. This is an exciting leadership role to shape and drive this new vertical from inception to success.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Vertical Establishment and Leadership:
- Lead the establishment, development, and growth of the Agriculture TIC vertical.
- Define the strategic roadmap for market penetration and service expansion.
- Set short- and long-term goals aligned with the company’s growth strategy.
2 . Business Development and Market Strategy:
- Identify and capitalise on new business opportunities within the agriculture sector.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance market entry and expand the service portfolio.
- Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, customers, and industry partners.
1. Team Recruitment and Management:
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team for Agri TIC operations.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence within the team.
- Set and monitor team performance objectives, ensuring alignment with organisational goals
2. Revenue Generation and Cost Management:
- Drive revenue generation to meet or exceed financial targets.
- Ensure effective cost control to maintain profitability.
- Develop and manage budgets for the vertical, ensuring financial sustainability
3. Investment Planning and Resource Optimisation:
- Evaluate and recommend investments in laboratory infrastructure, advanced technologies, and staff training.
- Plan for regional expansion to strengthen the vertical’s market presence.
4. Regulatory Compliance and Industry Standards:
- Ensure compliance with agriculture-specific regulations and standards at regional, national, and international levels.
- Keep abreast of changes in regulatory frameworks and adapt strategies accordingly.
5. Strategic Expertise:
- Leverage prior experience in establishing new service lines or business units within the TIC industry.
- Contribute to the development of innovative solutions to meet client and market demands.
