Job Summary :
The Manager – TIC (Minerals) will be responsible for managing mineral testing, inspection, and certification operations at our Raipur facility. The role includes supervising laboratory and field operations, handling staff deployed at client sites, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and maintaining effective communication with clients and regulatory bodies. Also will be responsible for ensuring the TAT required by the clients, enhancing the submitted samples market and developing new opportunities.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee daily operations of mineral testing, inspection, and certification activities.
- Visiting clients at various locations, developing and maintaining relationships, getting business through existing clients and through reference.
- Ensure strict adherence to industry standards, quality protocols, and safety regulations.
- Monitor the staff deployed at client sites for the sampling, testing and analysis of coal.
- Allocate work and monitor the productivity of the team.
- Review and validate test reports, inspection findings, and certification documents.
- Act as the primary point of contact (SPOC) for clients, ensuring smooth coordination and issue resolution.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
- Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and turnaround time.
- Manage budgets, resources, and manpower effectively.
- Active participation in tenders and enquiries.
- Monitoring the monthly MIS and ensuring compliance with the Budget requirements
- Mentor and train staff on testing methodologies, quality systems, and compliance requirements.
Requirements :
- B.Sc. Graduate
- 7–10 years of experience in Testing, Inspection & Certification (TIC) for minerals.
- Strong technical knowledge of mineral testing procedures, equipment, and certification standards.
- Experience in managing teams, including laboratory staff and field samplers.
- Proven ability to interact with clients, act as SPOC, and maintain long-term relationships.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Efficiency in being a Problem solver, and being able to think out of the box.
- Ready to relocate to Raipur will be considered.
Candidates from Cotecna, HDS, Geochem, and Dr Amin will be preferred.
